Dr. Alpana Kulkarni

Dr Alpana Kulkarni is a founder and Director of Wexford kids and has over 25 years of experience in paediatrics. She completed her training in General & Developmental Paediatrics through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and has worked in various tertiary hospitals in Perth, Melbourne, Hobart & Adelaide.

Dr. Kulkarni has been working as a General Behavioural/ Developmental Pediatrician at the Child Development Centre (West Perth and Armadale) and in the private sector since 2005. She has extensive experience in the management of a wide range of medical, developmental & behavioural problems in children & young people. She is appointed as Senior Clinical Lecturer at the School of Paediatrics and Child Health (UWA). She is also an examiner for undergraduates at the University of Western Australia and is actively involved in the training of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in Paediatrics.

In 2004, Dr. Kulkarni was awarded a Telethon Fellowship for research in an autism phenotype genotype study. She is a member of the Neurobehavioural and Paediatric Society of Australasia (NBPSA), Australian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA) and Western Australian Autism Diagnosticians' Forum (WADDF). Dr. Kulkarni is a certified Griffiths and Bayle's Developmental Tester, Autism Assessment trained member and certified 3di Autism Diagnostician. She also has training in Leadership and Family Partnership programs. She is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.

Dr Kulkarni is a proud mother of two girls and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.


Dr. Swati Singhal

Dr Swati Singhal has been practising paediatric medicine since 2009. She completed her training and initial work experience overseas in India, UK and Singapore. Her interest in developmental and behavioural paediatrics started while completing her basic training. She moved overseas to gain further work experience and worked exclusively in developmental paediatrics from 2011-2017. Dr Swati migrated to Australia in 2017 and has continued caring for children, young adults and their families. She is trained in administering Griffiths assessments, and is a certified for administering autism specific evaluations like ADIR and ADOS.

Dr Swati works as a consultant paediatrician in the public Child Development Services. She is passionate about helping young children, young adults and their families presenting with developmental and/ or behavioural issues. She brings with her a wide range of overseas and local experience. Her areas of expertise include conditions like Global Developmental Delays, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability and associated medical conditions like sleep disorders.
