What Are Your Fees?

WEXFORD KIDSĀ® is a private paediatric practice, which operates on a fee-for-service basis. Please refer to our Financial Information section for more information.

Do I Need A Referral?

Yes, to claim a rebate from Medicare, a valid referral from your GP or specialist is required for every appointment. GP referrals are valid for 12 months and specialist referrals for 3 months.
You will be liable for the full cost of the service without a valid referral.

Does My Son Or Daughter Need To Attend The Appointment?

Medicare will not provide a rebate if your child is not present at the appointment. We recommend bringing a trusted friend or family member who can sit with your child in the reception area if your child cannot be left independently or if there are aspects of your appointment you would like to discuss privately with the paediatrician.
